Abstract
Introduction: we investigated the effects of existing treatments for EP (salpingectomy and MTX) on ovarian reserve by estimating AMH levels.

Methodology: After selecting the patients, the clinical condition of 50 patients was examined. After performing laboratory and specialized tests based on clinical conditions in two groups, group 1: 25 patients will undergo laparoscopy and group 2: 25 patients will be treated with methotrexate (as a single dose and 1 mg/g). . The level of AMH was evaluated before surgical or drug intervention and 3 to 6 months after discharge in all cases, and its level in primary and secondary measurements and its changes were compared between the two groups.

Results: Based on the main results of this study, there was no significant difference between the two groups in terms of changes in AMH levels. The reduction rate was slightly higher in the MTX group. Regarding the basic and secondary AMH level, the difference between the two groups was not significant. As a side finding, you can see that there was a significant inverse correlation between age and primary and secondary AMH levels in two groups of patients, and this correlation was stronger in the group of patients under MTX.

Conclusion: As a result of the present study, the current applications of single-dose MTX systemic and laparoscopic unilateral salpingectomy as common and safe treatment options for EP have no difference in terms of effect on ovarian reserve.
