Nowadays, non-pharmacological pain relief methods such as aromatherapy are considered due to low side effects. This study was performed with aim to review the studies which evaluated the effect of aromatherapy on relief of labor pain. Methods: In this review study, electronic databases including: SID, Iranmedex, Magiran, IranDoc, Cochrane Library, MEDLINE/PubMed, Scopus and Google Scholar were searched with the keywords of aromatherapy, labor pain and clinical trial up to November 9, 2016. Search was limited based on English or/and Persian articles. The quality of studies was assessed using the Cochrane "risk of bias" tool. The results were reported qualitatively. Results: Of 456 articles which were found in the initial search, 24 randomized trials (3414 participants) were selected for systematic review. The studies were conducted in Iran, India, Egypt, Korea, Italy and New Zealand. The used essence were lavender in 11 articles, rose in 6 articles, common sage in 3 articles, geranium in 3 articles, jasmine in 3 articles, chamomile in 2 articles, peppermint in 2 articles, bitter orange in 1 article, mandarin in 1 article, orange in 1 article, pink in 1 article, ginger in 1 article, lemongrass in 1 article and frankincense in 1 article. Most of the studies showed the positive effects of aromatherapy on labor pain relief. Conclusion: Available data demonstrate that aromatherapy can be an effective intervention for alleviation of labor pain, but more studies with strong methodology are needed to achieve more rigorous evidence.}, keywords = {Aromatherapy,Clinical trial,Labor pain,Systematic review}, title_fa = {تأثیر آروماتراپی بر تسکین درد زایمان: مرور سیستماتیک کارآزمایی‌های بالینی}, abstract_fa = {مقدمه: تسکین درد زایمان همواره به عنوان یکی از مهم‌ترین موضوعات علم مامایی مطرح بوده است. امروزه روش‌های غیر دارویی تسکین درد از جمله آروماتراپی به دلیل اثرات جانبی کم، مورد توجه می‌باشند. مطالعه حاضر با هدف مروری بر مطالعات انجام شده در زمینه تأثیر آروماتراپی بر تسکین درد زایمان انجام شد. روش‌کار: در این مطالعه مروری پایگاه‌های اطلاعاتی SID، Iranmedex، Magiran، IranDoc،Cochrane Library، PubMed/ MEDLINE، Scopus و Google Scholarبا استفاده از کلید واژه‌های رایحه درمانی، آروماتراپی، درد زایمان و کارآزمایی بالینی تا 9 نوامبر 2016 جستجو شدند. از نظر زبان، جستجو محدود به مقالات منتشر شده به زبان فارسی و انگلیسی شد. کیفیت مقالات با استفاده از ابزار ""Risk of bias کوکران بررسی شد. نتایج به صورت کیفی گزارش شدند. یافته‌ها: از بین 456 مقاله یافت شده در جستجوی اولیه، 24 کارآزمایی بالینی (3414 مشارکت کننده) برای مرور ساختار یافته انتخاب شد. مطالعات در کشورهای ایران، هند، مصر، کره، ایتالیا و نیوزلند انجام شده بودند. اسانس استفاده شده در 11 مقاله اسطوخودوس، 6 مقاله گل سرخ، 3 مقاله مریم گلی، 3 مقاله شمعدانی، 3 مقاله گل یاس،2 مقاله بابونه، 2 مقاله نعناع فلفلی، 1 مقاله بهارنارنج، 1 مقاله نارنگی، 1 مقاله پرتقال، 1 مقاله میخک، 1 مقاله زنجبیل، 1 مقاله علف لیمو و 1 مقاله کندر بود. اکثر مطالعات مؤید اثربخشی مثبت آروماتراپی بر تسکین درد زایمان بودند. نتیجه‌گیری: شواهد موجود نشان می‌دهد آروماتراپی می‌تواند یک روش مؤثر در تسکین درد زایمان باشد، اما انجام مطالعات بیشتر با متدولوژی قوی جهت دستیابی به شواهد دقیق‌تر ضرورت دارد.}, keywords_fa = {آروماتراپی,درد زایمان,کارآزمایی بالینی,مرور سیستماتیک}, url = {https://ijogi.mums.ac.ir/article_8719.html}, eprint = {https://ijogi.mums.ac.ir/article_8719_ee396b6a6d782e9cd6b43df6c05ebee7.pdf} }
