Obesity can affect chemical pregnancy success rate after assistant reproductive therapy. This study was performed with aim to determine the association between body mass index (BMI) and chemical pregnancy after IVF or intracytoplasmic sperm injection for infertile women in Royan Institute. Methods: In this retrospective cohort study, 2983 infertile women who referred to Royan Institute from 2012 to 2014 were evaluated. The independent variable was body mass index and the outcome was the occurrence of chemical pregnancy in infertile women which were determined using β-HCG levels. Data analysis was performed using Stata software (version 13). PResults: The mean of BMI in infertile women was 26.7±4.31 kg/m2 and the prevalence of overweight and obesity in infertile women was 56.99%. The chance of non-success in chemical pregnancy in women with class II obesity was 2.69 times against women with normal BMI and the chance of non-success in chemical pregnancy in overweight women was 1.28 times against women with normal BMI. Conclusion: There is a significant relationship between body mass index and rate of chemical pregnancy and the chance of success in chemical pregnancy in overweight and obese women is less than women with normal BMI.}, keywords = {Assisted reproductive techniques,Body mass index,Infertility,pregnancy}, title_fa = {بررسی شیوع اضافه وزن و چاقی در زنان نابارور و ارتباط آن با میزان موفقیت بارداری شیمیایی بعد از درمان‌های کمک باروری}, abstract_fa = {مقدمه: چاقی و اضافه وزن یکی از مشکلات مهم مرتبط با سلامتی در سراسر جهان است. چاقی می‌تواند در میزان موفقیت بارداری شیمیایی بعد از درمان‌های کمک باروری تأثیرگذار باشد. مطالعه حاضر با هدف تعیین ارتباط بین شاخص توده بدنی با بارداری شیمیایی بعد از سیکل درمانی IVF و یا تزریق داخل سیتوپلاسمی اسپرم در زنان نابارور در پژوهشگاه رویان انجام شد. روش‌کار: در این مطالعه هم‌گروهی گذشته‌نگر، تعداد 2983 زن نابارور مراجعه کننده به پژوهشگاه رویان در سال‌های 1391 تا 1393 مورد بررسی قرار گرفتند. متغیر مستقل شاخص توده بدنی و پیامد مورد نظر رخداد بارداری شیمیایی در زنان نابارور بود که با استفاده از سطح β-HCG تعیین شد. تجزیه و تحلیل داده‌ها با استفاده از نرم‌افزار آماری Stata (نسخه 13) انجام شد. میزان p‌ کمتر از 05/0 معنی‌دار در نظر گرفته شد. یافته‌ها: میانگین شاخص توده بدنی زنان نابارور شرکت‌کننده 31/4±07/26 کیلوگرم بر متر مربع بود و شیوع اضافه وزن و چاقی در زنان نابارور 99/56% به دست آمد. احتمال عدم موفقیت در بارداری شیمیایی در زنانی که چاقی کلاس دو داشتند، 69/2 برابر زنان با شاخص توده بدنی نرمال و احتمال عدم موفقیت در بارداری شیمیایی در زنانی که اضافه وزن داشتند، 28/1 برابر زنان با شاخص توده بدنی نرمال بود. نتیجه‌گیری: ارتباط معنی‌داری بین شاخص توده بدنی با میزان بارداری شیمیایی وجود دارد و احتمال موفقیت در بارداری شیمیایی در زنان دارای اضافه وزن و چاق، کمتر از زنان با شاخص توده بدنی نرمال است.}, keywords_fa = {بارداری,درمانهای کمک باروری,شاخص توده بدنی,ناباروری}, url = {https://ijogi.mums.ac.ir/article_7704.html}, eprint = {https://ijogi.mums.ac.ir/article_7704_a4926f7e16e9bf907ccabe3c687265ae.pdf} }
