According to the type of delivery, mother's breastfeeding pattern may be different. The aim of this study was to compare the patterns of breastfeeding in women with normal vaginal delivery and cesarean section. Methods: This cross sectional study was conducted in 2009 on 197 mothers after labor in Vali-e-Asr educational-treatment center affiliated to Fasa University of Medical Sciences. After selection of mothers by purposive sampling method, their feeding patterns were assessed using the LATCH breastfeeding chart system according to direct observation. Data were analyzed by SPSS (version 15) software using t-test independent, Mann-Whitney test and Chi-square test. Results: Mean of gestational age in cesarean group was 38.8±1.7 week and in vaginal delivery group was 39.5±1.0 week (p= 0.004). Gender and weight of the newborns didn’t have any significant difference in vaginal delivery and cesarean groups. The score of breastfeeding pattern in the cesarean group (8.0±1.5) was statistically higher than vaginal delivery group (9.3±0.8) (p=0.001). Conclusion: The type of delivery correlates with the breastfeeding pattern. Mothers with cesarean delivery need more support and help in breastfeeding in the first days after delivery in comparison with mothers who experience vaginal delivery. Assessment of mothers’ breastfeeding pattern can be used in determining breastfeeding problems and applying appropriate nursing interventions.}, keywords = {Feeding pattern,Breastfeeding,Cesarean section,Normal vaginal delivery}, title_fa = {مقایسه الگوی شیردهی در زنان با زایمان طبیعی و سزارین}, abstract_fa = {مقدمه: تغذیه با شیر مادر یکی از فاکتورهای اصلی در سلامتی و بقاء نوزادان است. با توجه به نوع زایمان مادر الگوی تغذیه با شیر نوزادان ممکن است متفاوت باشد. هدف از این مطالعه بررسی و مقایسه الگوی شیردهی پس از زایمان طبیعی و سزارین در مادران بود. روش‌کار: این پژوهش مقطعی مقایسه ای در سال 1388 در مرکز آموزشی درمانی حضرت ولی عصر (عج) وابسته به دانشگاه علوم پزشکی فسا روی 197 مادر پس از زایمان انجام شد. پس از انتخاب هدفمند نمونه ها، الگوی شیردهی آنان با استفاده از سیستم چارت شیردهی لچ (LATCH) به صورت مشاهده‌ای مورد بررسی قرار گرفت. داده ها پس از جمع آوری با کمک نرم افزار SPSS (نسخه 15) و با استفاده از آزمون های آماری تی مستقل، من ویتنی و کای دو تحلیل شد. یافته‌ها: میانگین سن حاملگی در گروه سزارین 7/1±8/38 هفته و در گروه زایمان طبیعی 0/1±5/39 هفته بود (004/0=p). بین دو گروه از نظر جنسیت نوزاد و وزن هنگام تولد اختلاف معنی‌داری وجود نداشت. امتیاز الگوی شیر دهی در مادران گروه سزارین (5/1±8) و بیشتر از امتیاز مادران گروه زایمان طبیعی (8/0±3/9) بود (001/0 = p). نتیجه‌گیری: روش زایمان با رفتار شیردهی ارتباط دارد و مادران سزارین شده در مقایسه با گروه زایمان طبیعی نیاز به حمایت حرفه ای بیشتر و کمک در شیردهی در روزهای اول بعد از تولد فرزند دارند. بررسی الگوی شیردهی مادران می تواند در تعیین مشکلات شیردهی و برنامه ریزی برای انجام مداخلات پرستاری مناسب به کار گرفته شود}, keywords_fa = {الگوی شیردهی,تغذیه با شیر,سزارین,زایمان طبیعی}, url = {https://ijogi.mums.ac.ir/article_6016.html}, eprint = {https://ijogi.mums.ac.ir/article_6016_055c53b15f2a15bb98bded068645128d.pdf} }
