This study was performed with aim to investigate the prevalence of high-risk human papillomavirus serotypes in cervicovaginal smears of wives of men with genital warts and its relation with Pap smear. Methods: In this cross-sectional study, which was conducted between 2018 and 2020 in a private practice or affiliated clinics of the Islamic Azad University of Mashhad, 74 wives of men with genital warts were included in the study after confirmation of inclusion criteria. High-risk serotypes of human papillomavirus were determined by the Cobas apparatus, which is based on molecular methods. Cellular changes and inflammation of cervicovaginal smear samples were also examined by liquid base method in their spouses with genital warts. Data were analyzed using SPSS (version 20) and Kolmogorov-Smirnov, Chi-square, Fisher and ANOVA tests. P<0.05 was considered statistically significant. Results: The prevalence of premalignancy lesions or low and high grade dysplasia in the wives of men with genital warts was 10.8% and 4.1%, respectively, while in 85.1% of the sample examined, no dysplasia was observed. Also, high-risk serotypes were observed in 29.7% of the wives of men with genital warts, that 8.1% were serotypes 16, 2.7% genotypes 18 and 18.9% other serotypes. Conclusion: Due to the high prevalence of high-risk human papillomavirus in the wives of men with genital warts (29.7%), Pap smear test and determination of human papillomavirus serotype is recommended in these individuals.}, keywords = {Carcinoma,General wart,HPV,Pap smear}, title_fa = {بررسی فراوانی سروتیپ‌های پرخطر ویروس پاپیلومای انسانی (HPV) در اسمیر سرویکوواژینال همسران مردان مبتلا به زگیل تناسلی و ارتباط آن با نتیجه پاپ‌اسمیر}, abstract_fa = {مقدمه: ویروس پاپیلومای انسانی، عامل اصلی سرطان سرویکس است و با تشخیص به‌موقع و درمان سریع این عفونت‌ها می‌توان از پیشرفت سرطان دهانه رحم جلوگیری کرد. مطالعه حاضر با هدف بررسی فراوانی سروتیپ‌های ویروس پاپیلومای انسانی پرخطر در ترشحات همسران مردان مبتلا به زگیل تناسلی و ارتباط آن با نتیجه پاپ‌اسمیر انجام شد. روش‌کار: در این مطالعه مقطعی که در فاصله زمانی سال‌های 99-1397 در مطب خصوصی یا درمانگاه‌های تابعه دانشگاه آزاد اسلامی مشهد انجام شد، 74 نفر از همسران مردان مبتلا به زگیل تناسلی پس از تأیید معیارهای ورود، وارد مطالعه شدند. سروتیپ های پرخطر ویروس پاپیلومای انسانی توسط دستگاه کوباس که اساس کار آن به روش مولکولی می باشد، تعیین شد. همچنین تغییرات سلولی و میزان التهاب نمونه اسمیر سرویکوواژینال به روش Liquid base در همسرانِ آنان بررسی شد. تجزیه و تحلیل داده‌ها با استفاده از نرم‌افزار آماریSPSS (نسخه 20) و آزمون‌های کولموگروف- اسمیرنوف، کای دو، فیشر و آنووا انجام شد. میزان p کمتر از 05/0 معنیدار در نظر گرفته شد. یافته ها: شیوع ضایعات پیش‌بدخیم یا دیسپلازی گرید پایین و بالا در همسران مردان مبتلا به زگیل تناسلی به‌ترتیب 8/10% و 1/4% بود؛ این در حالی است که در 1/85% نمونه مورد بررسی، دیسپلازی مشاهده نشد. در 7/29% همسران مردان مبتلا به زگیل تناسلی سروتیپ پرخطر مشاهده شد که 1/8% سروتیپ 16، 7/2% سروتیپ 18 و 9/18% سایر سروتیپ‌های پرخطر بود. نتیجه گیری: با توجه به میزان بالای شیوع ویروس پاپیلومای انسانی پرخطر در همسران مردان مبتلا به زگیل تناسلی (7/29%)، انجام تست پاپ‌اسمیر و تعیین نوع سروتیپ ویروس پاپیلومای انسانی در این افراد توصیه می شود. }, keywords_fa = {پاپ‌اسمیر,زگیل تناسلی,سرطان,ویروس پاپیلومای انسانی}, url = {https://ijogi.mums.ac.ir/article_21581.html}, eprint = {https://ijogi.mums.ac.ir/article_21581_dc108b897f65927de6f2a177b478b872.pdf} }
