Periods of stress and psychological distress caused by this pandemic can affect a woman's menstrual cycle. The COVID-19 pandemic has had a significant impact on women's reproductive health. This narrative review was performed with aim to evaluate the effect of coronavirus on different aspects of each part of this axis and its relationship with women's health considering hypothalamic-pituitary-ovarian axis.Methods: In this narrative review study, the databases of Pubmed, Scopus, and Embase were searched using the keywords of "Female Reproductive System", "Hypothalamus", "Pituitary" and "Ovary" with the keywords of "COVID-19" and "SARS-COV-2" with a time limit from 2020 onwards. Then, the studies were summarized conceptually and the findings were categorized and interpreted in terms of the effect of coronavirus on the hypothalamus, pituitary gland, and ovary.Results: The potential neuronal invasion by the coronavirus could had led to its direct effect from the beginning to the end of this axis. Although more studies have examined the effect of COVID-19 on the regulation of sex hormones in women with COVID-19, most studies on the hypothalamic and pituitary axis have been based on genetic simulations.Conclusion: Coronavirus can have a wide impact on all organs involved in the female reproductive system. Over time, our understanding of the possible effects of this disease on female fertility will increase.}, keywords = {Coronavirus,COVID-19,Estrogen,Progesterone,Women}, title_fa = {کرونا ویروس جدید و محور هیپوتالاموس- هیپوفیز - تخمدان در زنان: یک مرور روایتی}, abstract_fa = {مقدمه: همه‌گیری کووید-19 زندگی مردم جهان را به شدت تحت تأثیر قرار داده است. دورههای استرس و ناراحتی روانی ناشی از بروز این پاندمی میتواند بر چرخه قاعدگی زنان تأثیر بگذارد. کووید-19 بر سلامت باروری زنان تأثیر قابل توجهی گذاشته است. مطالعه مرور روایتی حاضر با هدف بررسی تأثیر ویروس کرونا بر جنبههای مختلف هر بخش این محور و رابطه آن با سلامت زنان با در نظر گرفتن محور هیپوتالاموس- هیپوفیز- تخمدان انجام شد.روش‌کار: در این مطالعه مرور روایتی، پایگاه‌های اطلاعاتی PubMed، Scopus و Embase با استفاده از کلمات کلیدی سیستم باروری زنان، هیپوتالاموس، هیپوفیز و تخمدان و کلیدواژه‌های لاتین COVID-19 و SARS-COV-2 در منابع آنلاین، با محدودیت زمانی از سال 2020 به بعد مورد جستجو قرار گرفتند. سپس مطالعات از نظر مفهومی و یافتهها خلاصه گردید و در قالب تأثیر کرونا ویروس بر هیپوتالاموس، هیپوفیز و تخمدان دسته‌بندی و تفسیر گردید.یافته‌ها: احتمال بالقوه دست‌اندازی عصبی توسط ویروس کرونا، تأثیر مستقیم آن را از شروع تا پایان این محور ممکن میسازد. با وجود اینکه مطالعات بیشتری تأثیر بیماری کرونا را بر نظم هورمونهای جنسی بدن زنان مبتلا به کرونا بررسی کرده‌اند، اکثر مطالعات در زمینه محور هیپوتالاموس و هیپوفیز بر اساس شبیه‌سازیهای ژنتیکی بوده است.نتیجه‌گیری: ویروس کرونا میتواند تأثیر گسترده‌ای بر تمام ارگانهای دخیل در سیستم باروری زنان داشته باشد. با گذشت زمان، درک ما نسبت به عوارض احتمالی این بیماری در باروری زنان افزایش خواهد یافت.}, keywords_fa = {استروژن,پروژسترون,زنان,کرونا ویروس,کووید-19}, url = {https://ijogi.mums.ac.ir/article_19766.html}, eprint = {https://ijogi.mums.ac.ir/article_19766_70c0a06a8391105d012bff1299581c29.pdf} }
