GBS is colonized in 10-30% of pregnant women in the vagina or rectum. Transfer of mother-to-child GBS during delivery may result in invasive infection in the newborn during the first week of life. This study was performed with aim to compare the prevalence of GBS in pregnant women with gestational age of 24-34 weeks with symptoms of preterm labor with and without rupture of the membrane. Methods: This case-control study was performed on 50 pregnant women with gestational age of 24-34 weeks referred to Imam Reza (AS) Educational and Medical Center of Kermanshah with signs of preterm delivery in 2016. The subjects were divided into two groups of with rupture of membrane (case) and without rupture of the membrane (control). From the study population, the GBS cultures were collected at admission time from the vagina and were transferred to the medium. The results of culture and demographic information of mothers were compared in two groups. Data were analyzed by SPSS software (version 20) and chi-square and t-test. PResults: There was no significant difference in maternal age (P=0.246), gravidity (P=0.523), gestational age (P=0.716), and history of preterm delivery in previous pregnancies (P=0.942) between two groups of with and without rupture of the membrane. 2 cases (8%) of mothers with rupture of membrane and 1 case (4%) of mothers without rupture of membrane had positive GBS cultures, and the overall prevalence of GBS was estimated 6%. Conclusion: The frequency of positive GBS culture is higher than in pregnant women with rupture of membrane than in pregnant mothers without rupture of membrane}, keywords = {Group B Streptococcus,Preterm Labor,Rupture of membrane}, title_fa = {بررسی شیوع استرپتوکوک گروه B در زنان باردار 34-24 هفته، با علائم زایمان زودرس با و بدون پارگی کیسه آب}, abstract_fa = {مقدمه:استرپتوکوک گروه B (GBS)، به‌عنوان یکی از عوامل مهم در بروز و مرگ‌و‌میر پره‌ناتال است. GBS در 30-10% زنان باردار در واژن یا رکتوم تجمع دارد.  انتقال GBS مادر به فرزند، در هنگام زایمان ممکن است عفونت تهاجمی در نوزادان را در طول هفته اول زندگی به‌دنبال داشته باشد. مطالعه حاضر با هدف مقایسه شیوع GBS در زنان باردار با سن بارداری 34-24 هفته با علائم زایمان زودرس با و بدون پارگی کیسه آب انجام شد. روش‌کار: این مطالعه مورد - شاهدی در سال 1395 بر روی 50 نفر از زنان باردار 34-24 هفته که با علائم زایمان زودرس به مرکز آموزشی درمانی امام رضا (ع) مراجعه نمودند، انجام شد. افراد در دو گروه زنان با پارگی کیسه آب (مورد) و گروه زنان باردار بدون پارگی کیسه آب (شاهد) تقسیمبندی شدند. از جمعیت مورد مطالعه، کشت GBS در بدو ورود از واژن تهیه و به محیط کشت انتقال داده شد. نتایج کشت و اطلاعات دموگرافیک مادران در دو گروه مورد مقایسه قرار گرفت. تجزیه و تحلیل داده‌ها با استفاده از نرم‌افزار آماری SPSS (نسخه 20) و آزمون‌های کای دو و تی تست انجام شد. میزان p کمتر از 05/0 معنی‌دار در نظر گرفته شد. یافته‌ها: در مطالعه حاضر هیچ تفاوت معناداری بین سن مادران (246/0=p)، گراویدیتی (523/0=p)، سن حاملگی (716/0=p) و سابقه زایمان زودرس در بارداری قبلی (942/0=p) در دو گروه مادران با و بدون پارگی کیسه آب  مشاهده نشد. 2 نفر (8%) از مادران با پارگی کیسه آب و 1 نفر (4%) از مادران بدون پارگی کیسه آب کشت GBS مثبت داشتند و شیوع GBS در کل بیماران، 6% برآورد گردید. نتیجه‌گیری: در مادران باردار با پارگی کیسه آب، فراوانی کشت GBS مثبت بیشتر از مادران باردار بدون پارگی کیسه آب می‌باشد.}, keywords_fa = {استرپتوکوک گروه B,پارگی کیسه آب,زایمان زودرس}, url = {https://ijogi.mums.ac.ir/article_15731.html}, eprint = {https://ijogi.mums.ac.ir/article_15731_cb1b5c6b437aac5b61419260fa2e4464.pdf} }
