According to maternal-fetal complications of GDM, recognizing the related factors is crucial. There is evidence of association between some red blood cell indices such as hemoglobin and gestational diabetes. This study was performed with aimed to determine the relationship between level of red blood cells indices and risk of GDM occurrence. Methods: This case-control study was performed on 190 pregnant women with and without GDM referred to the prenatal care clinic of Tajrish Shohada hospital from October 2017 to March 2018. GDM screening tests was done by oral glucose tolerance test)OGTT) with 75-gr glucose and complete blood cell count measurement in gestational age of 24-28. Data was analyzed using SPSS software (version 16) and independent t-test, Mann-Whitney, Correlation, and logistic regression. PResults: Except than mean cellular weight (p= 0.06), other red blood cell indices (including red blood cell, hemoglobin, hematocrit, mean corpuscular volume and mean corposcular hemoglobin) were associated with increased risk of gestational diabetes mellitus occurrence (p<0.05). According to Receiver Operating Characteristic (ROC) curve for significant variables and determination of sensitivity and specificity of cut points, the area under the curve was greater for hematocrit than other variables.  Conclusion: Elevated hematocrit level among all red blood cell indices in second trimester had the strongest association with increased risk of GDM occurrence. This important issue requires special attention to hematocrit levels when administrating iron supplements in pregnancy.}, keywords = {Case-control study,Gestational Diabetes Mellitus,red blood corpuscles}, title_fa = {ارتباط سطوح سنجه‌های گلبول قرمز با خطر ابتلاء به دیابت بارداری (مطالعه مورد- شاهدی)}, abstract_fa = {مقدمه: دیابت بارداری، شایع‌ترین اختلال متابولیک در بارداری است. با توجه به عوارض مادری- جنینی دیابت بارداری، شناخت عوامل مرتبط با آن بسیار اهمیت دارد. شواهدی مبنی بر ارتباط برخی از سنجه‌های گلبول قرمز مانند هموگلوبین و دیابت بارداری وجود دارد. مطالعه حاضر با هدف تعیین ارتباط سطوح سنجه‌های گلبول قرمز با خطر وقوع دیابت بارداری انجام گرفت. روش‌کار: این مطالعه موردی - شاهدی از آبان تا اسفند 1396 با مشارکت 190 نفر از زنان باردار مبتلا و غیرمبتلا به دیابت بارداری مراجعه‌کننده به درمانگاه مراقبت‌های بارداری بیمارستان شهدای تجریش انجام گرفت. آزمایشات غربالگری دیابت بارداری با تست تحمل گلوکز (OGTT) به کمک 75 گرم گلوکز و سنجش شمارش کامل سلول‌های خونی در هفته‌های 28-24 بارداری صورت گرفت. تجزیه و تحلیل داده‌ها با استفاده از نرم‌افزار آماری SPSS (نسخه 16) و Medcalc (نسخه 1 .8. 18) و آزمون‌های تی با نمونه‌های مستقل، من‌ویتنی، همبستگی و رگرسیون لجستیک انجام گرفت. میزان p کمتر از 05/0 معنی‌دار در نظر گرفته شد. یافته‌ها: به‌غیر از سنجه میانگین وزن سلولی (06/0=p)، سایر سنجه‌های گلبول قرمز (شامل: میزان گلبول قرمز، هموگلوبین، هماتوکریت، متوسط حجم گلبولی و متوسط هموگلوبین گلبول قرمز) با افزایش خطر بروز دیابت بارداری ارتباط داشتند (05/0>p). بر اساس بررسی منحنی مشخصه عملکرد سیستم (ROC) برای متغیرهای معنادار و تعیین حساسیت و ویژگی نقاط برش، مساحت زیر نمودار برای هماتوکریت از سایر متغیرها بیشتر بود. نتیجه‌گیری: از بین سنجه‌های گلبول قرمز، افزایش سطح هماتوکریت در سه ماهه دوم بارداری، قوی‌ترین ارتباط را با افزایش خطر وقوع دیابت بارداری دارد که این مهم توجه ویژه به سطوح هماتوکریت را در حین تجویز مکمل آهن در بارداری می‌طلبد.}, keywords_fa = {دیابت بارداری,گلبول‌های قرمز خون,مطالعه موردی- شاهدی}, url = {https://ijogi.mums.ac.ir/article_13443.html}, eprint = {https://ijogi.mums.ac.ir/article_13443_b9966a566eaa4fdb23ac3a8b36773b3c.pdf} }
