The recognition of the gestational diabetes factors can play an important role in the improvement of the pregnancy condition; therefore,this study was to investigate the relationship between serum vitamin D level and gestational diabetes mellitus in patients referred to Imam Hossein Hospital in Tehran, Iran, during 2015. Materials and Methods: In this cross-sectional study was conducted on 164 pregnant women in Tehran during 2015. Patients were tested for gamma-glutamyl transferase using a oral glucoseof 50 g and then a 3-hour glucose tolerance test was used. Individuals with diabetes mellitus were considered case group and individuals without gestational diabetes mellitus (control group). Blood samples were taken to determine and compare serum vitamin D level between the two groups. The data were analyzed using SPSS (version 21) through the Chi-square and independent t-test. Results: The mean values of 25-hydrozxy-vitamin D level were 29.4±19 and 24.13±13.3 in the case and control groups, respectively.  In this regard, the results of independent t-test revealed a significant difference between the two groups  (P=0.042). Moreover, the ROC curve analysis of vitamin D with a cut point of 20 indicated a sensitivity level of 53% and a specialty of 45%. Based on the results of this study, pregnant women with vitamin D deficiency are twice at risk of developing gestational diabetes, compared to their healthy counterparts. Conclusion: The low level of serum vitamin D is the independent risk factor for gestational diabetes mellitus. However, due to the limitations of this study it is essential to conduct further evaluations.}, keywords = {Vitamin D,Gestational Diabetes Mellitus,Serum level}, title_fa = {بررسی ارتباط بین سطح سرمی ویتامین D و دیابت بارداری در مادران باردار}, abstract_fa = {مقدمه: دیابت بارداری، از اختلالات مهم زنان در سن بارداری بالای 24 هفته می‌باشد. شناخت عوامل مرتبط با آن می‌تواند نقش مهمی در بهبود شرایط زنان باردار ایفا کند، لذا مطالعه حاضر با هدف بررسی ارتباط بین سطح سرمی ویتامین D و دیابت بارداری در مراجعین به بیمارستان امام حسین (ع) تهران انجام شد. روش‌کار: این مطالعه مقطعی در سال 1395 بر روی 164 زن باردار مراجعه‌کننده به بیمارستان امام حسین (ع) تهران انجام شد. از بیماران تست‌های غربالگری دیابت بارداری با استفاده از چالش گلوکز خوراکی 50 گرم و سپس تست تحمل قند 3 ساعته انجام شد. افراد دارای معیارهای دیابت بارداری در گروه مورد و افراد فاقد این معیارها، در گروه شاهد قرار گرفتند. سپس نمونه خون جهت تعیین سطح سرمی ویتامین D اخذ و میزان آن بین دو گروه مورد و شاهد مقایسه شد. تجزیه و تحلیل داده‌ها با استفاده از نرم‌افزار آماری SPSS (نسخه 21) و آزمون‌های کای اسکوئر و تی مستقل انجام شد. میزان p کمتر از 05/0 معنی‌دار در نظر گرفته شد. یافته‌ها: میانگین سطح سرمی ویتامین D در گروه مورد 3/13±2/24 و در گروه شاهد 19±4/29 بود که بر اساس نتایج آزمون تی مستقل، اختلاف آماری معناداری بین دو گروه وجود داشت (042/0=p). همچنین بر اساس منحنی ROC،مقدار ویتامین D با نقطه برش 20، دارای حساسیت 53% و ویژگی 45% بود. بر اساس نتایج این مطالعه، زنان باردار دچار کمبود ویتامین D تا 2 برابر بیشتر در معرض خطر ابتلاء به دیابت بارداری هستند. نتیجه‌گیری:سطح سرمی پایین ویتامین D یک عامل خطر مستقل برای ابتلاء به دیابت بارداری محسوب می‌شود.}, keywords_fa = {دیابت بارداری,سطح سرمی,ویتامین D}, url = {https://ijogi.mums.ac.ir/article_12240.html}, eprint = {https://ijogi.mums.ac.ir/article_12240_01be106de1cc0277fcfd92ed2909c925.pdf} }
