Introduction: Since total abdominal hysterectomy is associated with high bleeding and increases the incidence of thrombosis, we decided to study non-pharmacological prevention of thrombosis in hysterectomy; Prevention of deep vein thrombosis in women is a candidate for total hysterectomy.
Methods: This single-blind randomized clinical trial study was conducted in Tabriz Medical Sciences Hospitals during a one-year period ending in September, 2019. 32 patients (available sampling, sample size based on formula) participated in the two-day physiotherapy group. Before surgery, he received lower extremity physiotherapy every eight hours (for one hour), and the other group received bandages on his feet after physiotherapy. Thrombosis diagnostic tests were recorded for each individual in the relevant checklist and by Kolmogorov-Smirnov tests. Paired t-test was used in SPSS 21. P
