Also in men, Chlamydia is the most common cause of urethral discharge. Present study was performed with the aim of determining the Chlamydia infection frequency in cervical and urethral samples of women referred to Ghaem Hospital of Mashhad.   Methods: This descriptive study was carried out on 861 cervical and urethral samples of women having genital tract infection symptoms, who referred to Ghaem hospital of Mashhad during 3 years. Samples were cultured in cyclohexamide treated McCoy cell line and stained by Giemsa method. Samples were evaluated for cytoplasmic inclusion bodies. Data was analyzed using descriptive statistics.   Results: Of all the samples, 588 cases (68.3%) were cervical and 273 cases (31.7%) were urethral samples. 408 cervical samples (69.39%) and 189 urethral samples (69.23%) were positive for Chlamydia in cell culture system.   Conclusion: Chlamydia prevalence is very high among samples of patients who refer to laboratories. Considering the role of Chlamydia trachomatis in infertility, all infertile patients should be evaluate for Chlamydia infection at the first step.}, keywords = {Cell culture,Cervicitis,Chlamydia trachomatis,Inclusion body,Urethritis}, title_fa = {بررسی فراوانی عفونت کلامیدیا تراکوماتیس در نمونههای مجرای ادرار و دهانه گردن رحم ارسالی به بیمارستان قائم (عج) مشهد}, abstract_fa = {مقدمه: کلامیدیا تراکوماتیس قادر است دستگاه تناسلی را آلوده کند و عامل ایجاد طیف وسیعی از تظاهرات بالینی در زنان شود که از عفونت‌های بدون علامت تا عفونت‌های پیش‌رونده پیچیده مانند بیماری‌های التهابی لگن، نازایی و حاملگی نابه‌جا متغیراست. همچنین در مردان کلامیدیا شایع‌ترین عامل ترشحات مجرا است. هدف از این مطالعه تعیین فراوانی عفونت کلامیدیا در نمونه‌های مجرا و گردن رحم بیماران مراجعه‌کننده به بیمارستان قائم (عج) مشهد بود.   روش کار: این مطالعه توصیفی روی 861 نمونه از سرویکس و مجرای ادراری بیماران دارای علایم عفونت مجرای تناسلی مراجعه‌کننده به درمانگاه زنان بیمارستان قائم (عج) مشهد به‌منظور بررسی وجود کلامیدیا طی مدت 3 سال انجام شد. نمونه‌ها روی رده سلولی McCoy تیمارشده با سیکلوهگزامید کشت داده‌ شدند و پس از رنگ‌آمیزی گیمسا، حضور انکلوزیون بادی‌های داخل سیتوپلاسمی در آنها بررسی شد. داده‌ها به کمک آمار توصیفی تحلیل شد.   یافته‌ها: 588 مورد از نمونه‌ها (3/68%) مربوط به سرویکس و 273 مورد (7/31%) نمونه مجرا بودند. 408 مورد (39/69) از نمونه‌های سرویکس و 189 مورد (23/69) از نمونه‌های مجرا از نظر وجود کلامیدیا در سیستم کشت سلول مثبت شدند.   نتیجه‌گیری: نتایج نشان‌دهنده حضور بالای کلامیدیا تراکوماتیس در نمونه های بیماران ارجاعی به آزمایشگاه‌ها است. با توجه به نقش کلامیدیا در ایجاد ناباروری، پیشنهاد می شود تمامی بیماران نابارور ابتدا از نظر وجود کلامیدیا تراکوماتیس ارزیابی شود.}, keywords_fa = {کلامیدیا تراکوماتیس,سرویست,اورتریت,کشت سلول,انکلوزیون بادی}, url = {https://ijogi.mums.ac.ir/article_5798.html}, eprint = {https://ijogi.mums.ac.ir/article_5798_9dae67963bbe6bba58e1b7fad5bc2425.pdf} }
