Unfortunately, many of these pregnancies are seen in women who use reliable contraceptive methods such as oral contraceptive pills. The aim of current study was to investigate the prevalence of oral contraceptive pills (OCP) in unintended pregnancies and the factors associated with its failure.   Methods: This descriptive-analytical study was conducted on 1000 pregnant women who referred to the obstetrics ward of Imam Reza hospital in Mashhad for labor from 2007 to 2008. A questionnaire was used for obtaining the demographics and type of contraception. Then mothers who had used oral contraceptive pills were asked for their applied methods. Data were analyzed by SPSS 11.5 software.   Results: 34.5% of studied women had unintended pregnancy that 3.91% had used contraceptive methods. The main method used in unintended pregnancies was OCP (40.3%). In OCP consumers, just 19.7% used OCP correctly. Fear of complications was the most prevalent cause of wrong use (42.2%). Other factors associated with OCP failure were age, education level and economic state which had significant relationship with failure (p<0.05).   Conclusion: Since OCP use is the most common contraception method and fear of complications is the most important cause of failure, training the correct method of OCP use and informing consumers about complications should be emphasized.}, keywords = {Contraception,Failure,oral contraceptive pills,Unintended pregnancy}, title_fa = {تعیین میزان مصرف قرص های پیشگیری از بارداری در حاملگیهای ناخواسته و بررسی عوامل مرتبط با شکست آن}, abstract_fa = {مقدمه: بارداری ناخواسته با عواقب ناخوشایند جسمی و روانی بـرای مـادر و جنـین همـراه اسـت . بسـیاری از مـوارد  بارداری ناخواسته در زنانی ایجاد میشود که برای جلوگیری از بارداری به روشهای بسیار مطمئن به ویـژه قـرصهـای ضد بارداری خوراکی روی آورده اند . این پژوهش با هدف بررسی میـزان مصـرف قـرصهـای ضـدبارداری خـوراکی در  حاملگی های ناخواسته و بررسی عوامل مرتبط با شکست آن انجام شد.  روش کار: در این مطالعه توصیفی - تحلیلی ۱۰۰۰ خانم باردار که در سالهای ۱۳۸۷- ۱۳۸۶ برای زایمان بـه بخـش  مامایی بیمارستان امام رضا در مشهد مراجعه کرده بودند از نظر بارداری ناخواسته مورد بررسی قـرار گرفتنـد سـپس  پرسش قرار گرفتند . دادهها به کمک پرسشنامهای شـامل اطلاعـات جمعیـتشـناختی و روش پیشـگیری از بـارداری مادرانی که حین م صرف قرصهای ترکیبی پیشگیری از بارداری حامله شده بودنـد، در مـورد روش مصـرف آن مـورد جمع آوری و با نرم افزار SPSS ( نسخه ۱۱/۵ ) تحلیل شد.  یافته ها : ۳۴/۵ درصد افراد مورد مطالعه حاملگی ناخواسته داشتن د کـه ۳/۹۱ درصـد آنهـا از روش هـای پیشـگیری از  بارداری استفاده میکردند . در حاملگیهای ناخواسته رایجترین روش پیشگیری از بـارداری قـ رص هـای خـوراکی بـود  ( %۴۰/۳ ) که ۱۹/۷ درصد افراد آن را به طور صحیح مصرف میکردند . شایعترین علت مصرف نا درست ترس از عوارض  (۴۲/۲ درصد ) بود . سن، سطح تحصیلات و وضعیت اقتصادی با شکست رابطه معنی دار داشت (p<۰/۰۵).  نتیجه گیری: از آنجا که پرمصرفترین روش قابل برگشت پیشگیری از بارداری قرص های ترکیبی هستند و مهمترین  عامل شکست ترس از عوارض است، آموزش مصرف صحیح و اطمینان دادن به مصـرف کننـدگان در خصـوص عـوارض  دارو میتواند از بسیاری موارد بارداری ناخواسته پیشگیری کند.}, keywords_fa = {حاملگی ناخواسته,پیشگیری از بارداری,قرصهای خوراکی جلوگیری از بارداری,شکست}, url = {https://ijogi.mums.ac.ir/article_5780.html}, eprint = {https://ijogi.mums.ac.ir/article_5780_69dd4acbdbae46a48bd8d186532b2c57.pdf} }
