The aim of this study was to compare the efficacy profile of isosorbide mononitrate with low dose syntocinon for cervical ripening at labor.   Methods: The study population was nulliparous women referred to Shahid Sadoughi Hospital of Yazd in 2008-2009. 100 primigravid women were randomly assigned to two groups that received either vaginal isosorbide mononitrate tablets 40 mg (n= 50) or low-dose syntocinon (n= 50) with simplification method. Effectiveness of each agent was the cervical ripening effect and the time from initiation of the treatment to delivery that were compared between two groups. Efficacy and safety outcomes were compared in two groups. Data were analyzed by t-test and Fisher’s exact test with SPSS software version 15.   Results: The results showed that there were no significant differences between the two groups regarding mean of age and gestational age (with sonography and Last Menstrual Period). Mean of cervical ripening time was 36.13±4.057 hours in isosorbide mononitrate group and 36.28±3.886 hours in low–dose syntocinon group (P=0.876). There was no significant difference in mode of delivery (cesarean or vaginal) between two groups. The most common side effect in isosorbide mononitrate group was light headache (70%) and in low-dose syntosinon group it was tachysystole/hypertone (4%). One and five minute’s neonatal apgar were similar in two groups.   Conclusion: Use of vaginal isosorbide mononitrate was as effective as low dose syntocinon in cervical ripening can be used as an effective, simple, low cost and safety method in cervical ripening.}, keywords = {Isosorbide Mononitrate,Low dose syntocinon,Cervical Ripening,labor}, title_fa = {مقایسه اثر قرص ایزوسورباید مونونیترات واژینال و سنتوسینون با دوز کم در آماده‌سازی دهانه رحم در هنگام زایمان درشهرستان یزد در سال 87-1386}, abstract_fa = {مقدمه: آماده‌سازی دهانه رحم برای انجام زایمان یکی از مشکلات مامایی محسوب می‌شود. هدف این مطالعه تعیین اثر ایزوسورباید مونونیترات و مقایسه آن با سنتوسینون با دوز کم، در آماده‌سازی دهانه رحم در هنگام زایمان است.   روش‌کار: در این مطالعه، جامعه پژوهش را زنان باردار نولی‌پار مراجعه‌کننده به بیمارستان شهید صدوقی یزد طی سالهای 87-1386 تشکیل می‌دادند. 100 زن حامله، شکم اول ترم به صورت تصادفی به دو گروه دریافت‌کننده قرص ایزوسورباید مونونیتریت40 میلی‌گرم به صورت واژینال (50 نفر‌) و سنتوسینون با دوز کم (‌50 نفر) تقسیم شدند. تأثیر و ایمنی دو روش از نظر آماده سازی سرویکس و مدت زمان بین شروع درمان تا زایمان در دو گروه با هم مقایسه شد. داده‌ها با نرم افزار SPSS (نسخه 15)، توسط آزمونهای آماری دقیق فیشر و تی دانشجویی بررسی شد.   یافته‌ها: در دو گروه مورد مطالعه از نظر متغیرهای میانگین سن، سن حاملگی (سونوگرافی، اولین روزآخرین قاعدگی) اختلاف وجود نداشت. میانگین زمان آماده‌سازی دهانه رحم تا القای زایمان در گروه قرص ایزوسورباید مونونیترات، 05/4‌±‌13/36 ساعت و در گروه سنتوسینون با دوز کم، 88/3±28/36 ساعت بود (‌876/0=‌p) اختلاف معنی‌داری بین دو گروه از نظر نوع زایمان (‌سزارین و زایمان واژینال‌) وجود نداشت. شایعترین عارضه دارویی در گروه قرص ایزوسورباید مونونیترات، سردرد خفیف (70%) و در گروه سنتوسینون با دوز کم، تاکیسیستول‌/‌هیپرتون (4%) بود. آپگار دقیقه اول و پنجم در دو گروه یکسان بود.   نتیجه‌گیری: استفاده از قرص ایزوسورباید مونونیترات واژینال برای آماده‌سازی دهانه رحم، تأثیری مشابه با سنتوسینون با دوز کم دارد و می‌تواند به عنوان یک روش مؤثر، ساده، کم هزینه و ایمن در آماده‌سازی دهانه رحم مورد استفاده قرار گیرد}, keywords_fa = {ایزوسورباید مونونیترات,سنتوسینونبا دوز کم,آماده‌سازی دهانه رحم,زایمان}, url = {https://ijogi.mums.ac.ir/article_5776.html}, eprint = {https://ijogi.mums.ac.ir/article_5776_c1cdedb5c19f224348198dc99382ec57.pdf} }
