It seems that quality measuring criteria of journals could have solved this problem to some extent. In this study, we studied quality of journals of obstetrics and gynecology field indexed in the valid databases, and then based on indices of ranking journals. Materials and Methods: This descriptive study, was conducted in May 1392 by method of assessment. Information about all obstetrics and gynecology journals indexed in the database Scopus, were collected from the databases ISI, Pubmed and Scopus. Spearman's rank correlation coefficient and Kolmogorov–Smirnov test was used for analysis data. Minitab 17 and SPSS 22 were used for data analysis. P value≤0.05 was considered to be significant. Result: Of the148 Journals of obstetrics and gynecology field which were found in the Scopus database, 89 journals (60.14%) were indexed in the Pubmed and 78 (52.70%) journals were indexed in the ISI. About 42.57% of this journals publish in England and USA. The mean impact factor, SJR, and Eigenfactor score of obstetrics and gynecology journals were 1.825±1.428, 0.459±0.495, and 0.00766±0.011, respectively. Spearman's rank correlation coefficient was 0.895 (between impact factor and SJR), 0.819 (between impact factor and Eigenfactor score), and 0.801 (between SJR and Eigenfactor score). Conclusion: Our study showed significant association between considered indices of journals ranking: Impact Factor, Eigenfactor score and Scimago Journal Ranking, for journals in the field of obstetrics and gynecology which were indexed in ISI and Scopus databases. The results also showed that although Eigenfactor score and SJR can be better indices than Impact Factor, but considering impact factor cannot be ignored while choosing a proper journal in this discipline, due to its public acceptance in the scientific community, availability and ease of use.}, keywords = {Gynecology,Journal Database,Journal Impact Factor,Journal Ranking,Obstetrics,Scopus,Web of Science}, title_fa = {بررسی کیفیت مجلات حوزه‏ زنان و مامایی در پایگاه ISI و Scopus بر اساس شاخص‏های رتبه‏بندی مجلات}, abstract_fa = {مقدمه:امروزه تعدد و کیفیت نامعلوم مجلات حیطه‏های مختلف علوم پزشکی، پژوهشگران را در انتخاب مجله مناسب برای انتشار نتایج تحقیقات علمی سردرگم کرده است. شاید معیارهای سنجش کیفیت مجلات بتوانند این مشکل را تا حدودی حل کنند؛ لذا مطالعه حاضر با هدف بررسی کیفیت مجلات حوزه‏ زنان و مامایی بر اساس شاخص‏های رتبه‏بندی مجلات در پایگاه‏های اطلاعاتی معتبر انجام شد. روش کار: این مطالعه به صورت توصیفی تحلیلی و به روش علم‏سنجی انجام شد.اطلاعات مورد نیاز این مطالعه که شامل تمامی مجلات نمایه شده حوزه‏ زنان و مامایی در پایگاه Scopus بود، در اردیبهشت 1392 از پایگاه‏های ISI، Pubmed و Scopus استخراج شد. تجزیه و تحلیل داده ها با استفاده از نرم افزار Minitab (نسخه 17) و SPSS (نسخه 22) و آزمون های کولموگروف- اسمیرنوف و ضریب همبستگی اسپیرمن انجام شد. میزان p کمتر از 0/05 معنی دار در نظر گرفته شد. یافته‏ها:89(60/14%) مجله از 148 مجله مورد نظر نمایه شده در پایگاه  Scopus مجله در Pubmed و 78 مجله (52/70%) در ISI نمایه می‏شوند. 57/42% مجلات در دو کشور انگلستان و آمریکا منتشر می شوند. میانگین ضریب تأثیر، SJR و عامل ویژه مجلات حوزه‏ زنان و مامایی به عنوان شاخص های رتبه بندی مجلات به ترتیب 1/428±1/825، 0/459±0/495 و 0/011±0/00766 بود. ضریب همبستگی اسپیرمن بین ضریب تأثیر و SJR برابر با 0/0895بین ضریب تأثیر و عامل ویژه 0/819 و بین SJR و عامل ویژه 0/801 بود. نتیجه‏گیری: بین شاخص‏های ضریب تأثیر، عامل ویژه و SJR مجلات حوزه‏ زنان و زایمان در پایگاه ISI و Scopus ارتباط معناداری وجود دارد. شاخص عامل ویژه و SJR می‏توانند معیاری مناسب تری نسبت به ضریب تأثیر باشند، اما علی رغم کمبودهای ضریب تأثیر، این ابزار به دلیل پذیرش همگانی در مجامع علمی، در دسترس بودن و سهولت کاربرد نمی‏تواند نادیده گرفته شود.}, keywords_fa = {پایگاه های اطالعاتی مجالت,رتبه بندی مجالت,زنان و زایمان,ضریب تأثیر مجالت,مامایی,و سایت علوم,Scopus}, url = {https://ijogi.mums.ac.ir/article_3175.html}, eprint = {https://ijogi.mums.ac.ir/article_3175_def23862715a2a4d013692060443860a.pdf} }
