Studies have shown that increased maternal homocysteine in the blood is associated with various diseases such as pre-eclampsia. For inhibition from serum homocysteine elevation, high dose folic acid can be prescribed in these cases. This study aimed to assess the association of serum levels of folic acid and homocysteine with pre-eclampsia. Methods: This case-control study was conducted on 125 women with pre-eclampsia and 125 healthy pregnant women referred to Hajar hospital of Shahrekord, Iran during 2011-2012. 5 ml of blood sample was taken and serum levels of folic acid and homocysteine were measured. Data were analyzed using SPSS software version 20 and t-test, chi-square, two-way ANOVA and correlation regresion. P value less than 0.05 was considered significant. Results: Mean levels of homocysteine were elevated in cases with pre-eclampsia compared to control group (p=0.01) (11.27±4.8 vs. 9.9±3.9 µmol/l) and mean level of folic acid were significantly lower in cases with pre-eclampsia (p=0.002) (9.96±4.3 vs. 8.39±3.6 ng/ml). BMI, age, gestational age and neonatal weight have been shown to be different statistically in two groups (p<0.001) and other variables such as education level revealed no significant differences between two groups (p=0.257). Conclusion: Mothers with high serum levels of homocysteine and folic acid and high age and BMI are more at risk of pre-eclampsia. It seems that upper dose of folic acid can prevent or decrease the risk of pre-eclampsia.}, keywords = {folic acid,Homocysteine,Pre-eclampsia}, title_fa = {بررسی سطح سرمی اسیدفولیک و هموسیستئین در زنان باردار و ارتباط آن با پره اکلامپسی}, abstract_fa = {مقدمه: پره اکلامپسی، یکی از دلایل عمده مرگ و میر مادران باردار و نوزادان آن ها می باشد ولی علت بروز آن هنوز مشخص نیست. مطالعات نشان داده اند که افزایش هموسیستئین در خون مادر، با بیماری های مختلف از جمله پره اکلامپسی همراه است. برای مهار افزایش هموسیستئین، ویتامین های زیادی تجویز می شود که از جمله آن ها می توان به اسیدفولیک اشاره کرد. لذا مطالعه حاضر با هدف بررسی میزان اسیدفولیک و هموسیستئین در خون زنان باردار و ارتباط آن با پره اکلامپسی انجام شد. روش کار: این مطالعه مورد- شاهدی در سال 91-1390 بر روی 125 زن باردار مبتلا به پره اکلامپسی و 125 زن باردار سالم که به بیمارستان هاجر شهرکرد مراجعه کرده بودند، انجام شد. 5 سی سی خون از هر نفر گرفته و میزان اسیدفولیک و هموسیستئین سرم اندازه گیری شد. تجزیه و تحلیل داده ها با استفاده از نرم افزار آماریSPSS  (نسخه 20) و آزمون های تی، کای دو، آنالیز واریانس دو طرفه و همبستگی انجام شد. میزان p کمتر از 05/0 معنی دار در نظر گرفته شد. یافته ها: سطح سرمی هموسیستئین در افراد با پره اکلامپسی در مقایسه با گروه کنترل افزایش داشت (01/0=p) (8/4±27/11 در برابر 9/3±9/9 ماکرومولار/ لیتر) و همچنین سطح سرمی اسید فولیک در بیماران به طور معنی داری پایین تر از گروه کنترل بود (002/0=p) ( 3/4±96/9 در برابر 6/3±39/8 نانوگرم/ میلی لیتر). موارد دیگر شامل BMI، سن، سن زایمان و وزن نوزاد تفاوت معناداری را در دو گروه نشان دادند (001/0>p) و دیگر متغیرها مانند سطح تحصیلات هیچ گونه تفاوت معناداری را بین دو گروه نشان ندادند (257/0=p). نتیجه گیری:مادران بارداری که سطح خونی هموسیستئین، سن و BMI  بالاتری دارند از احتمال بیشتری برای ابتلا به پره اکلامپسی برخوردارند لذا شاید بتوان با افزایش دوز مصرفی اسید فولیک در خانم های حامله، سطح سرمی هموسیستئین آن ها را کاهش داد و از پره اکلامپسی جلوگیری کرد.}, keywords_fa = {اسیدفولیک,پره اکلامپسی,هموسیستئین}, url = {https://ijogi.mums.ac.ir/article_3020.html}, eprint = {https://ijogi.mums.ac.ir/article_3020_4a73a3b3ecf9d36768af2d2af542471e.pdf} }
