Identify the maternal risk factors related to neonatal jaundice is helpful in identification of high risk infants and prevention of its complications. This study aimed at investigating maternal risk factors and mode of delivery in neonates with jaundice. Methods: This descriptive study was performed on 2796 full term infants at age 3-29 days with jaundice in Ghaem hospital of Mashhad city during 2003 to 2011. After confirming diagnosis of jaundice in newborns, according to pediatrician and laboratory results, a questionnaire containing maternal demographic information, neonatal characteristics, maternal complications during pregnancy and mode of delivery were completed. Data were analyzed using SPSS software version 19.5, t-test and chi-square test. Results: Of 2796 term infants with jaundice, 1146 newborns (41%) had a history of maternal risk factors including hypertension (4.7%), vaginal bleeding (3.3%), diabetes (2.78%), premature rupture of membranes (2.7%) and urinary tract infection (0.8%). 464 newborns (58%) with a history of maternal risk factors were delivered by cesarean section and 337 infants (42%) by vaginal delivery. Conclusion: Maternal risk factors including vaginal bleeding, hypertension, diabetes, premature rupture of membranes, urinary tract infection and also cesarean delivery is associated with neonatal jaundice. So if these problems occur in pregnancy, neonates should be followed in terms of jaundice.  }, keywords = {Cesarean section,Jaundice,Maternal risk factors,normal delivery}, title_fa = {بررسی عوامل مستعد کننده مادری در بروز زردی نوزادی}, abstract_fa = {مقدمه: زردی، شایع ترین علت بستری نوزادان در ماه اول پس از تولد می باشد. شناسایی عوامل مستعد کننده مادری مرتبط با زردی نوزادی در شناسایی سریعتر نوزادان در معرض خطر زردی و پیشگیری از عوارض ناشی از آن کمک کننده است. لذا مطالعه حاضر با هدف بررسی و شناسایی عوامل مستعد کننده مادری و نوع زایمان در نوزادان مبتلا به زردی انجام شد. روش‌کار: این مطالعه توصیفی - تحلیلی طی سال های 1382 تا 1391 بر روی 2796 نوزاد ترم 3 تا 29 روزه مبتلا به زردی در بیمارستان قائم (عج) مشهد انجام شد. پس از تأیید زردی نوزادان بر اساس تشخیص پزشک متخصص اطفال و نتایج آزمایشگاهی، پرسشنامه پژوهشگر ساخته حاوی اطلاعات فردی مادر، مشخصات نوزاد، مشکلات مادر در طی بارداری و نوع زایمان تکمیل شد. داده ها پس از گردآوری با استفاده از نرم افزار آماری SPSS (نسخه 5/19) و آزمون های تی و کای دو مورد تجزیه و تحلیل قرار گرفت. میزان p کمتر از 05/0 معنی دار در نظر گرفته شد. یافته‌ها: از 2796 نوزاد ترم مبتلا به زردی، 1146 نفر (41%) سابقه عوامل مستعد کننده مادری شامل: افزایش فشار خون (7/4%)، خونریزی واژینال (3/3%)، دیابت (78/2%)، پارگی زودرس کیسه آب (7/2%) و عفونت ادراری (8/0%) داشتند. 464 نفر (58%) از نوزادان با سابقه عوامل مستعد کننده مادری به روش سزارین و 337 نفر (42%) به روش طبیعی متولد شده بودند. نتیجه‌گیری: عوامل مستعد کننده مادری شامل خونریزی واژینال، افزایش فشارخون، دیابت، پارگی زودرس کیسه آب، عفونت ادراری و همچنین زایمان سزارین با زردی نوزادی همراه می باشد. لذا در صورت بروز این مشکلات در بارداری باید نوزادان را از لحاظ زردی تحت پیگیری قرار داد.  }, keywords_fa = {زردی,زایمان طبیعی,سزارین,عوامل مستعد کننده مادری}, url = {https://ijogi.mums.ac.ir/article_273.html}, eprint = {https://ijogi.mums.ac.ir/article_273_2ff0c43d3493825bb47a98abcb18620b.pdf} }
