The aim of this study was assessing the various dimensions of postmenopausal quality of life and effect of some demographic variables on it. Methods: This analytical descriptive study was conducted on 400 women aged 40–65 years referred to Ahvaz east health center, Iran in 2012. Demographic and menopausal quality of life questionnaires were completed for all subjects via face to face interview. The score of quality of life and its different domains were changed into the 0-20 range. Higher scores indicated worse quality of and lower scores indicated better quality of life. Data were analyzed using SPSS software version 17, descriptive statistics tests, t-test and ANOVA. P value less than 0.05 was considered significant. Results: The mean score of quality of life in postmenopausal women was 9.72±3.27. The worst score was related to vasomotor dimension (10.90±5.27) especially hot flash symptom. Employed women had a better quality of life in physical (p=0.002) and psychological (p=0.01) dimensions than housewives. Quality of life in smoker women was significantly lower in vasomotor (p=0.04) and psychological (p=0.002) dimensions than non-smokers. No significant relationship was found between quality of life and age, education, sport, income and health situation. Conclusion: The worst score of postmenopausal quality of life was related to vasomotor dimension. Smoking and being housewife reduced quality of life in some of its dimensions.  }, keywords = {Demography,Menopause,Quality of life}, title_fa = {کیفیت زندگی و عوامل مرتبط با آن در زنان یائسه مراجعه کننده به مرکز بهداشتی شرق شهر اهواز در سال 1391}, abstract_fa = {مقدمه: کیفیت زندگی، یکی از پیامدهای مهم سلامتی به شمار می آید که در ارزیابی مداخلات بهداشتی نقش مهمی دارد. مطالعه حاضر با هدف ارزیابی کیفیت زندگی زنان یائسه در ابعاد مختلف و تأثیر برخی متغیرهای فردی بر آن انجام شد. روش‌کار: این مطالعه توصیفی- تحلیلی در سال 1391 بر روی 400 زن یائسه 65-40 ساله مراجعه کننده به مرکز بهداشتی شرق شهر اهواز انجام شد. پرسشنامه های اطلاعات جمعیت شناختی و پرسشنامه کیفیت زندگی زنان یائسه برای تمام نمونه ها به وسیله مصاحبه چهره به چهره تکمیل شد. امتیاز مربوط به کیفیت زندگی و ابعاد مختلف آن بعد از محاسبه به دامنه 20-0 تبدیل شدند. بالاتر بودن نمره در هر حیطه نشان دهنده بدتر بودن کیفیت زندگی و پایین تر بودن نمره نشان دهنده بهتر بودن کیفیت زندگی بود. داده ها با استفاده از نرم افزار آماری SPSS (نسخه 17) و روش های آمار توصیفی و آزمون های تی و آنووا مورد تجزیه و تحلیل قرار گرفت. میزان p کمتر از 05/0 معنی دار در نظر گرفته شد. یافته‌ها: میانگین امتیاز کسب شده کیفیت زندگی زنان یائسه 27/3±72/9 بود. بدترین امتیاز کسب شده کیفیت زندگی در بُعد وازوموتور (27/5±90/10) و مربوط به علامت گُرگرفتگی بود. زنان شاغل در ابعاد جسمی (002/0=p) و روانی (01/0=p) کیفیت زندگی بهتری نسبت به افراد خانه دار داشتند. کیفیت زندگی زنان سیگاری در ابعاد وازوموتور (04/0=p) و روانی (002/0=p) به طور معناداری پایین تر از زنان غیر سیگاری بود. بین متغیرهای سن، سطح تحصیلات، ورزش، درآمد و وضعیت سلامتی با کیفیت زندگی ارتباط معناداری وجود نداشت. نتیجه‌گیری: پایین امتیاز مربوط به کیفیت زندگی زنان یائسه در بعد وازوموتور بود. سیگار کشیدن و خانه دار بودن باعث کاهش امتیاز کیفیت زندگی در برخی ابعاد آن شدند.  }, keywords_fa = {جمعیت شناختی,کیفیت زندگی,یائسگی}, url = {https://ijogi.mums.ac.ir/article_1498.html}, eprint = {https://ijogi.mums.ac.ir/article_1498_e17c69335acd43f94ba5704c52421fe7.pdf} }
